Delbert McClinton, Santa Monica Pier Twilight Dance Concert. 8/15. Coming off a Grammy win this year, Delbert McClinton is hot! His critics, including Nashville scribe, Michael McCall agree “Delbert’s raspy, ferocious voice carries in it the history of American popular music.” Delbert also won a Grammy for his duet with Bonnie Raitt from her Luck of the Draw album and has numerous songwriting credits on albums by Wynona, Vince Gill and scores of others. Opening for Delbert is long time Pier favorite and powerhouse blues singer, Teresa James.
