Zarem Named President of CSPS
Dr. Harvey Zarem is the new president of the
California Society of Plastic Surgeons, the country’s largest
organization in this field.
He was chief of the UCLA School of Medicine, Plastic Surgery from
1973-87, and is currently on the faculty of the USC School of
Medicine.
Arguably the most experienced plastic surgeon in Los Angeles, Zarem,
whose offices are in Santa Monica, has trained many local specialists
and has often been on the lists of America’s Top Doctors and Top
Cosmetic Surgeons. As one of the pioneers in breast reduction surgery,
Zarem is at the forefront of developing improved techniques in all
areas.
California Society of Plastic Surgeons is a medical specialty
society composed of more than 400 board certified plastic surgeons.
Founded in 1951, it provides member education, public information and
legislative interaction.
Zarem will lead a panel of experts at the Annual Meeting of the
American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery in Boston, May 15-21. |
