Of Particular Interest
Film Noir Festival at the American Cinematheque
The 5th Annual festival will kick off
with Alfred Hitchcock’s Strangers on a Train, and feature both the
film’s star, Farley Granger and Hitch’s daughter, Patricia, for a
post-screening Q&A. Strangers is one of the most beloved Hitchcock
films and certainly one of the most twisted. The film shows Friday,
April 4 at 7 p.m.
That same evening, a double header of noir: The cinematic
adaptation of Dashiell Hammett’s The Glass Key, followed by Stranger
on the Third Floor. The double feature begins at 9:45.
Farley Granger will also appear for a Q&A for a double feature on
April 5, They Live by Night and Rope, which begins at 7:45 p.m.
