Palisades Council To Meet Thur.

   The Pacific Palisades Community Council will hold its next meeting on Thursday, June 27, at 7 p.m. in the Oak Room at Mort’s, 1035 Swarthmore.
   In preparaton for the Area Representatives’ election, persons seeking to become an Area Representative must prepare a Candidate’s Statement of no more than 100 words and either give the statement to the Chair at a Community Council meeting or mail it to the Council P.O. Box at least seven days prior to the July meeting.
   On the agenda are discussions of the installation of speed humps on El Medio between Miami Way and Wynola and on El Oro Lane between Jacon Way and Enchanted Lane, and the question of whether low cost housing units should be required in connection with the construction of 22 units at 17325 Castellemare.
   The Community Council meets at 7 p.m. on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month, except in April, July, August, November and December -- only one meeting is held during these months.
