Jefferson Starship at The Twilight Dance Series (Santa Monica Pier), 8/29, dusk. Sure, there are hipper shows around town tonight, and yeah, you could brave the traffic into town, but there’s something to be said for catching Grace Slick and Co., for free, belting it out with an hypnotic Santa Monica sunset as a backdrop, as the sea breeze and nostalgia delicately invade your senses.
