Monica Symphony Free Concert
The Santa Monica Symphony continues its 2001/2002
season on March 3, with a concert featuring Dmitri Shostakovich’s
dramatic Sympohony No. 15.
The concert will take place at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium
and is free and open to the public. A pre-concert lecture by UCLA
Professor Raymond Knapp will begin at 6:45 p.m.
Included in the program will be Rossini’s overture to “William
Tell,” and “Siegfried’s Funeral Music,” from Richard Wagner’s “Der
Rings des Nibelungen.”
