All-Star Cast Appears in Staged Reading

   A staged reading of A.R. Gurney’s drama, “Ancestral Voices,” will display the talents of Rene Auberjonois, Adrienne Barbeau, Katherine Helmond, Lawrence Pressman, and Peter Scolari, under the direction of Gordon Hunt.
   “Ancestral Voices” explores the struggles of a family coping with a scandal in Buffalo, New York in the 1930s and early ‘40s.
   The reading will take place on Saturday, February 9 at 8 p.m. at the Smothers Theatre, Pepperdine University, 24255 Pacific Coast Highway, in Malibu. Ticket prices are $40 general admission and may be obtained by calling (213) 365-3500.
