Wanda Jackson and The Cadillac Angels at The Derby 1/10. The queen of rockabilly, who once wore Elvis’ ring, graces Los Angeles with a rare performance. There’ll probably be some guests, and it’ll probably sell out, so get there early.
Randy Weeks at The Bigfoot Lodge 1/13. From the Lonesome Strangers, to his solo career, Randy Weeks continues to inspire. Lucinda Williams covered his “Can’t Let Go,” and his latest recording effort “Madeline” shows his talent for “rootsy, funky” music that incorporates American rock n’ roll, blues, roadhouse country and soul.
