SM Students Are AP Scholars

Four Marymount High School students from Santa Monica have been named AP Scholars by the College Board in recognition of their exceptional achievement on the college-level AP Exams.
All 2001 graduates, Ann Conkle, Mi Sun Hwang, Tanya Judge and Alexandra Woods were among the 33 AP Scholars at Marymount. Nationally, 840,000 students took AP Exams in May, with 13 percent earning the honor.
Conkle and Woods qualified for the AP Scholar with Honor Award by earning an average grade of at least 3.25 on all AP Exams taken, and grades of 3 or higher on four or more of these exams on full-year courses.
Hwang and Judge qualified for the AP Scholar with Distinction award, granted to students who receive an average grade of at least 3.5 on all AP Exams taken, and grades of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams on full-year courses.
