Star Gazing

November 14-20, 2001

Laura Wilde

Aries
Detective work uncovers what you already knew. Use up what you have before you replace it. When something comes in, make sure something else goes out. Find out how to do-it-yourself and use the repair money for something useful. It’s not how much you make, it’s how much you make of what you make.

Taurus
Put your faith in something reliable rather than a fly-by-night. Reinvention will be necessary to achieve certain goals — you’ll be asked to set and define them. At some point, you’ll have to come to terms with the fact that if god gives you lemons, you gotta to make lemonade.

Gemini
It’s feast or famine lately — either you’re working hard or you’re hardly working. A middle ground is what you need what right now — stability, reliability and a little excitement thrown in for good measure. Learn a new skill and a whole new world will brighten.

Cancer
Your feet are too high off the ground and you’ll be accused of not living in reality. It’s a time to get clear about what’s going on around you — pay attention, tell the truth and keep your mind focused on fixing your problems. Think of it like roping a horse.

Leo
You see a mountain that looks like a lovely climb but it’s too high for you. You stand there looking at it wondering if you’ll be able to handle it and what you’ll do once you get to the top. It can be nothing but a good thing to sets your sights high. As long as you’re not setting yourself up to lose.

Virgo
There are many hidden treasures in stores you rarely frequent. A random idea you put out into the world snowballs and eventually becomes something great. Your struggle of late means you do what you have to do, what you like to do and what you want to do. They are all one in the same.

Libra
Put off doing today what you must put off until tomorrow. Time to keep your time as your time. When someone pays you to do something, make you sure you throw in something extra so that next time you’ll be better paid. Keep records of all loan transactions.

Scorpio
When you hear a friend’s cry for help drop everything and step up to the plate. Perhaps you can bury the hatchet and go on with your life. See yourself beyond that which makes you feel safe. Be open to certain mysteries, especially where inspiration and talent are concerned.

Sagittarius
Stay far away from the shoulds, coulds and woulds, especially as we head swiftly toward the end of the year. It will be about breaking patterns, bucking tradition and living on bought and paid for time. Stretch your horizons — take that road you’ve been avoiding for so long.

Capricorn
You’ve got ore trouble than you can shake a stick at, but even you know your limits. You find yourself struggling with the past, present and future all at once. The only possible way to get through it is to live moment to moment. Think hard about how best to get through just one hour, then one day, then one week — pretty soon, it’s smooth sailing.

Aquarius
An old friend brings up a delicate subject. Just why have you been avoiding it for so long? Enough time has passed so that you won’t feel uncomfortable when names and places are brought up. You’ve come a long way, baby — be grateful for the journey — thank your childhood self for the memories.

Pisces
You feel your life passing quickly before your eyes, yet you also have lead feet getting things going. You need some kind of jump start. Don’t give up so easily. Concentrate on broadening your career, learn how to better market your assets. You’ll get very lucky over the weekend.
