RED, WHITE AND BLUE

In the wake of the terrorist attacks on September 11,
Pacific Park on Santa Monica Pier has changed the lights on its Ferris
wheel, all 5,392 of them, from green and purple to red, white and
blue. On Saturday, September 29, the Park will donate 50% of its
revenues to the disaster relief fund.
