The Movie that Inspired Me

   Screenwriter-director and UCLA Film and Television Archive Chairman Curtis Hanson hosts the second installment of the series “The Movie That Inspired Me,” which will be held four consecutive evenings. “Being John Malkovich” screenwriter Charlie Kaufman kicks off the event on Tuesday, May 22 with a screening of Tom Noonan’s “What Happened Was.” 
   Next up is Drew Barrymore (Thursday, May 31) who chooses Woody Allen’s “Annie Hall.” Finally, actor/director Sean Penn (Friday, June 1) picks John Cassavetes’ “Minnie and Moskowitz.” 
   The screenings are planned but could be altered with no notice due to scheduling conflicts. A final guest (TBA) will take the Tuesday, June 5th slot.
