Driver Safety Course Starts May 21

The AARP Driver Safety Program sponsored by WISE Transportation will be held on Monday, May 21 and Thursday, May 24 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Ken Edwards Center. The eight-hour classroom course emphasizes how to adjust driving in response to age-related physical changes and declining perceptual skills.
Rules of the road, local driving problems, and safety tips will also be discussed. Upon completion of the course, attendees are eligible to receive insurance discounts. The program is offered to both AARP members and non-members, and is open to drivers of any age. Attendance at both sessions is required to receive a certificate for insurance purposes.
The fee is $10, and pre-registration is required. Call (310) 394-9871, ext. 455.
