Surfrider To Hold Beach Clean-Up, Fair

The Malibu Chapter of the Surfrider Foundation has scheduled a beach clean-up on Saturday, April 21, and an Environmental Fair on Sunday, April 22, to mark Earth Day 2001.
On Saturday, volunteers will meet at Pacific Coast Highway and the Topanga Canyon Road at 10 a.m. and spend two hours cleaning up the Topanga Agro Beach.
The fair will be held Sunday, April 22, from noon to 6 p.m. at the Nature Center on the Trippet Ranch in Topanga State Park
Environmental, educational and community organization booths, performances by local acoustic bands, dancers, and actors, educational and children’s activities and speakers will be featured.  Vegetarian foods and soft drinks will be served.
As parking is very limited, fair organizers are asking people to ride-share, hike or bike in, if possible.
