Ross Is Re-Elected Chief of Staff At S.M.-UCLA Center

   Santa Monica family physician Dr. Stephen Ross has been re-elected chief of staff at Santa Monica-UCLA Medical Center. 
   A 1980 graduate of the hospital's Family Practice Residency Program, Ross currently practices medicine with the UCLA Medical Group in Santa Monica, which he joined in 1997. 
   Joining Ross on the hospital's 2001 Executive Medical Board are Dr. Marjorie Fine, who was re-elected vice chief of staff, and Dr. Peter Galier who was elected secretary-treasurer. 
   Fine is a general surgeon and lives in Brentwood. Galier is an internal medicine specialist with the UCLA Medical Group. 
   Other members of the board, which oversees medical affairs at the hospital, are newcomer Dr. David Baron, who practices medicine in Malibu, and incumbents Dr. William Growdon, Dr. Michael Herbst, Dr. Richard Levy, Dr. Stephen McCartney and Dr. Bernard Weintraub, all of whom practice in Santa Monica.
