Mustang Expo At The Museum of Flying
On Sunday, June 25, the "Mustang Wings and Wheels Expo" will held at the Museum of Flying in Santa Monica. The event, which will run from 10 am to 4 pm, celebrates in 60th anniversary of the North American P-51 Mustang airplane. Sponsored by Southern California Ford Dealers, the expo will bring together P-51 Mustangs, Ford Mustangs, and famous World War II Mustang pilots.
Legendary P-51 pilot Bob Hoover, along with two of the Tuskeegee Airmen, Lee Archer and Dr. Roscoe Brown, will be in attendance, discussing the plane with which they will be forever identified.
P-51 airplanes will be on display, including a rare "A" model, and over 150 Ford Mustang automobiles will be exhibited. Also on the agenda are biplane rides and P-51 Mustangs in flight.
The "Mustang Wings and Wheels Expo" is co-produced by the Beach Cities Mustang Club and the Museum of Flying. Admission is $10 for adults, $6 for seniors, and $3 for children under 16 years-old. For more information call, (310) 392-8822, ext. 501.
