Edgemar Launches "Cinema At The Edge" Independent Film Festival

Edgemar Cinema for the Arts announced opening and closing night films for its inaugural Cinema at the Edge Independent Film Festival May 30 through June 2. Focusing on independent films of all genres that feature a distinct vision and a unique voice, the festival will take place here in Santa Monica.

SM Library Screens "The Political Is Personal" Documentary Film Series

Santa Monica Public Library presents ‘The Political is Personal’ Film Series, a summer series of monthly documentary screenings. Each screening begins at 7:00 p.m. in the Main Library’s MLK Jr. Auditorium. The series begins on Wednesday, June 19, with the showing of “A Place at the Table” (2012, 84 minutes).
