The Santa Monica College Pete & Susan Barrett Art Gallery is presenting “Sight Readings: A 35-Year Survey of Work by Roxanne Sexauer,” an exhibition of original works by the printmaker renowned in the contemporary printmaking community as an artist whose aesthetic of abstraction references nature. Sexauer’s work recognizes a long tradition built in the distinctive qualities and processes of hand-pulled prints.

Santa Monica’s annual Relay for Life, a relay to promote cancer awareness, is a touching event about to celebrate its 12th year. It will be held this weekend – July 26-27 – at Santa Monica College (co-sponsor and host of the event).

Santa Monica College Citizens Bond Oversight Committee Applicants Sought

Santa Monica College is seeking applications for the Citizens Bond Oversight Committee, which oversees the implementation of Measures U, S and AA, the 2002, 2004 and 2008 bond measures that are funding capital improvement projects at the college. The application deadline is Friday, June 6, 2014.
