Z Garden is celebrating its one-year anniversary at 2350 Pico Blvd with a celebration this Saturday, Feb. 23 from noon to 3 pm. The restaurant’s owners have invited their long time friend Samir Kamoun (pictured right) to perform as a Charlie Chaplin (which he did for 30 plus years for Universal Studios).

In 1985, Patty Cohen and Cathy Tauber shared a passion for film and opened Vidiots, the movie-rental house on the corner of 3rd Street and Pico in the Santa Monica seaside neighborhood of Ocean Park.

The proposed development at 3402 Pico Boulevard is a concern to neighboring residents who say if approved will increase health, safety, and traffic problems.
