The first international museum exhibition of airport architecture, "Now Boarding: Fentress Airports + The Architecture of Flight," opens to the public Thursday at the Museum of Flying in Santa Monica.

The “Food Truck Bazaar” will be held every Tuesday from 5:30 pm through 9:30 pm at 2612 Main Street in Santa Monica.

The California Heritage Museum launched its “Food Truck Bazaar” on Tuesday, which is set to become a weekly community event on Main Street.

Diane and Bob Dempster are building their own World Cruiser, a replica of the original planes that were the first to be flown around the world. Bob will talk about the project in Santa Monica this Saturday, Jan. 26.

The Santa Monica Museum of Flying will welcome its newest attraction this Friday, Dec. 7 -- the MaxFlight high definition, 3D virtual reality flight simulator FS3000. The unit was installed at the Museum this week and will be available to visitors beginning Friday.

Santa Monica’s California Heritage Museum on Main Street needs help in the form of mowing the lawn, trimming trees and bushes, and planting flowers after the City cut its maintenance support.

The "Fresh Canvas" event was held under the wings of airplanes suspended from the museum's ceiling.
