The Santa Monica History Museum will host a gala dinner on Sept. 21 to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the first around the world flight in Donald Douglas cruisers.

The Maxflight FS3000 at Santa Monica's Museum of Flying is a full motion simulator thanks to fully interactive 360 degree pitch and roll technology, meaning you can go completely upside down.

Museum Of Flying Launches Summer Family Fun Pack & Friday Flight Special

Santa Monica's Museum of Flying will launch two new summer programs this week. The Summer Family fun pack will be featured on Wednesdays and Thursdays and will consist of a Family four-pack admission price of only $20, which is a $32 value.

Hands on History will be held this Saturday at the Santa Monica History Museum.

At Wednesday evening's PRECOGNITO Gala, the Santa Monica Museum of Art's annual benefit, world-renowned theatre director and Museum supporter Peter Sellars (who was honored by SMMoA last year) told the audience "The train is coming," a reference to the 2016 arrival of the Metro Expo Line and the redevelopment of the Santa Monica Museum of Art.

The Santa Monica History Museum has announced that celebrity Stephanie Edwards is the Honorary Chair for its Silver Anniversary year and Annual Gala Tribute Dinner. The dinner will honor museum founders Louise and Bob Gabriel, museum architect Kris Andresen, and a long-time supporter Mary Ann Powell, CEO of Pacific Park at Santa Monica Pier.

Incognito attendees can buy 8”x10” size artworks for $350 this Saturday at the Santa Monica Museum of Art fundraiser, but the identity of the artist isn’t revealed until after the purchase.
