Free Metro Rides! May 20, 21

As part of the celebrations for the opening of the Expo Line to Santa Monica on Friday, May 20, the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro) will offer free rides on Friday and Saturday and will hold station celebrations on Saturday, May 21

Metro Begins Testing New Bus Boarding System On Wilshire Rapid Line 720

As Metro tests a system aimed at speeding up the passenger-boarding process, riders of select buses on Wilshire Boulevard today will be able to board the bus at any of the three doors, as long as they have a TAP card.

An additional five miles of bus lanes will open on Wilshire beginning April 8.
