Metro Begins Testing New Bus Boarding System On Wilshire Rapid Line 720

As Metro tests a system aimed at speeding up the passenger-boarding process, riders of select buses on Wilshire Boulevard today will be able to board the bus at any of the three doors, as long as they have a TAP card.

An additional five miles of bus lanes will open on Wilshire beginning April 8.

Drivers heading out of the San Fernando Valley via the San Diego (405) Freeway should be aware that the freeway would close at midnight -- one hour earlier than previously planned.
