Free College-Prep Programs At Santa Monica Public Library In September

Back to school time for teens often means stress about college. The Library can help! They’re offering several college-prep programs at the Main Library and branch libraries throughout the month of September. All programs are free and open to the public.

Santa Monica's Pico Branch Library Earns City’s First LEED Platinum Certification

The City of Santa Monica has announced that the Pico Branch Library has been certified Platinum, the highest rating achievable in the LEED Green Building Certification Program.

The Santa Monica Public Library has been setting up shop on the shore and signing out books to literature hungry beachgoers at a series of five ‘pop up‘ libraries that began June 26 and concludes later this month.

Renowned dance instructor Ludis Benitez teaches the rudiments of Cuban Salsa to kids and teens at the Montana Ave. Branch as part of the summer program.
