SMC Beats Rio Hondo But Loses To Grossmont In Basketball Tournament

Santa Monica College won against Rio Hondo 89-86 Friday night but lost to Grossmont 87-73 in the SMC Basketball Tournament at home Saturday afternoon. Grossmont forward Robert Romero thought that the Griffins came out with a lot of intensity to beat the Corsairs.
