The first three high-profile dining establishments planned for Ocean Avenue South were announced on Wednesday by Related California: Joan’s On Third, Hakkasan Group’s Searsucker, and a Starbucks Evenings concept.

Artist Stephanie Trachtenberg is gearing up to exhibit more than three dozen art works at Upper West restaurant in Santa Monica starting Sunday.

For more than two years, Upper West in Santa Monica has put its restaurant walls to the best possible use, displaying paintings of different local artists for about four months at a time through a partnership with local company The Beach Vault.

Hermosa Beach Fish Shop opened in April. It offers more than 2,000 combinations of dishes to choose from, including the traditional Fish ‘n Chips.
