Bicyclists, pedestrians and others using non-motorized modes of transportation will replace car traffic along six miles of streets in Culver City and Venice Sunday for the 14th edition of CicLAvia.

The proposed bike-share system Breeze made its first major public debut at the May 9 Santa Monica Festival in Clover Park, giving Santa Monica its first opportunity to see the bikes up close.

Santa Monica’s bike sharing program, Breeze Bike Share, is now offering founding membership registration. A system test using seven selected stations or “hub” locations will launch on Aug. 13 for about six weeks.
