SMC Softball Loses To Bakersfield College 14-4

The SMC Corsairs (2-21) softball team continues to skid downhill battling through a tough season after losing their latest game to Bakersfield College (3-20) 14-4 at John Adams Middle School field Tuesday afternoon. With the loss the Corsairs are now 0-9 in the Western State Conference. Bakersfield Softball Head Coach Sandi Taylor said that she thought that the Renegades played well against the Corsairs.

Corsairs Volleyball Battle In Loss To Bakersfield

The Santa Monica College (5-10) women's volleyball team lost to Bakersfield college Friday night 25-20, 25-18, and 25-22, but the loss felt more like a victory for the Corsairs who scored five unanswered points in the final set to end the league game.
