A Hollywood man, aged 44, was arrested Saturday, May 4 after punching a Starbucks customer in the head for no apparent reason. At 11:50 am Santa Monica Police Department went to the area of Fifth Street and Arizona Avenue after they had been informed of an assault that had just happened.

A 37-year-old man was arrested Thursday, March 21 after a beachgoer spotted him masturbating while sitting on one of the lifeguard towers. At 5:56 pm officers of the Santa Monica Police Department responded to the Lifeguard Tower Number 12, located in the 1200 block of the Santa Monica Beach, in order to apprehend the man who was reported to be masturbating there.
