“Room 17” by Steve Stajich sold out in June, so they've added two “Encore!” performances on Friday, August 26th and Saturday August 27th, both at 8:30 pm.

A performance of “Room 17” by our own Steve Stajich takes place at the Great Scott Theatre at the MET Theater building, 1089 N. Oxford Avenue, Los Angeles tonight.

In his brilliant routine on “Stuff,” comedian George Carlin illuminated the contradictions of having possessions and then needing to figure out what to do with them. “Your home is just a place for your stuff, with a roof over it” Carlin points out and then discusses how complicated it can be to go on vacation and enter a vortex of frustration over what to do with all the stuff you brought with you in order to relax on vacation.

Every new mass shooting brings with it speculation about mental health, to some extent because the media just can’t seem to accept that those dead from guns are dead from guns. But am I missing something?

The photo you see is a picture of the gun in my life right now. It’s not a real gun; it’s a prop for my current theater piece “AUTO PARTS.” It’s used at a moment when a jilted wife seeks her revenge on her husband. It’s actually a pellet pistol, used to shoot plastic pellets. They are available at most sporting goods stores and this one cost me $18 bucks.
