The
Western Institute of Sexual Health (WISH) has opened a new office in
Santa Monica that began seeing patients on Friday.
Larry Paletz,
MD, a board certified urologist and Santa Monica resident, said his physician partners and other staff members look forward to bringing the
most comprehensive sexual health clinic to Santa Monica.
"Men and
women should know that we will do our upmost to restore their sexual
health with cost-effective treatments that contribute to overall health
and wellbeing," Paletz said.
The
new WISH office is located at 2001 Santa Monica Blvd., Suite 890W in
Santa Monica, near St. John’s Hospital at 20th and Santa Monica Blvd.
For
a limited time WISH doctors are offering free screenings for low
testosterone (also known as Low-T), a low-cost Penile Doppler Ultrasound
test for erectile dysfunction (also known as E.D.), and diagnostic
testing for a variety of other issues that may be impeding sexual health
and overall health.
If treatment is needed, Paletz said WISH accepts most health insurance.
“My
colleagues and I have found that some people are not comfortable
talking with their own doctor about their sexual health issues," he said ."That’s why we’re here. To listen, to educate and to help patients know that most sexual health issues can be resolved. They don’t have to suffer in silence, and their partners will be happy they sought treatment."
