Fairy tale princes are not at all what they seem when
Santa Monica High School presents the musical “Into the Woods,” finishing up
this weekend with three performances in Barnum Hall.
Students Bret Hart and Tomas Prada, some of the top
vocal talent at Samohi, bring the house down as they sing of their confused
lives: “I was brought up to be charming, not sincere.”
The community is invited to join Little Red Riding Hood,
Jack & the Giant, Cinderella, and other beloved characters in this musical
fractured fairy tale about the importance of community and the perils of greed,
with a live orchestra.
The final performances are today, Feb. 15 and Saturday,
Feb. 16 at 7 pm, and Sunday, Feb. 17 at 4 pm.
Barnum Hall on the campus of Santa Monica High School is
located at 601 Pico Boulevard, Santa Monica.
Due to construction, parking is not available on campus
(visit the link below for alternatives).
Tickets are $10 for students and $15 for adults, which
are available at the door or online at SamohiTheatre.org.
