Santa Monica Public Library has released a free mobile app to allow users to search the library catalog, browse new releases, place holds, renew checkouts, manage their library card accounts, and get directions to the nearest branch.

The SMPL Mobile app works for both iOS (iPhone, iPad) and Android devices.

The app is now available at the iTunes App Store and Google Play Store; just search for Santa Monica Public Library.

All Santa Monica Public Library locations are wheelchair accessible.

For more information about the app and other library services, call 310.434.2608 or visit the library web site at smpl.org.
