The Pacifica Christian boys basketball team played Oakwood High School in the first ever high school sanctioned game on the Venice Beach courts off of Ocean Walk and 17th Ave. Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m.

The Seawolves won over Oakwood 50-41 with senior guard Duncan Valade leading the way with 18 points.

Other events taking place on the boardwalk that day included sidewalk shopping, break dancing, and broken glass walking affording Pacifica Christian students and families the opportunity to interact with mimes and musicians, and jugglers and jesters.
