Pacific Park on the Santa Monica Pier presents a celebration of white patterns and colors for New Year’s Eve tonight.

The Ferris wheel New Year’s Eve light display will start at sunset (about 4:55 p.m.) to 12:30 a.m.

Guests will also enjoy a live disc jockey mixing holiday favorites in the park.

Pacific Park’s Pacific Wheel is the world’s only solar-powered Ferris wheel featuring 160,000 energy-efficient LED lights that present dynamic, custom, computer-generated lighting entertainment each evening.

The eco-friendly, enhanced LED lighting provides 75 percent greater energy savings than most Ferris wheel’s traditional incandescent bulbs.
