Westside Volleyball Teams To Begin CIF Playoffs

Westside girls volleyball teams Santa Monica High School (10-2), Pacifica Christian (13-1), St. Monica (9-4), New Roads (9-8), Archer (13-3), and Windward (12-4) have all qualified for the CIF Southern Section playoffs.

Santa Monica High School is 5-0 in the Ocean League and begin their first playoff game inside the CIF Southern Section Division 3A home against Palmdale at 7 p.m.

St. Monica High School is 5-3 in the Camino Real League and begin their first playoff game inside the CIF Southern Section Division 4AA home against Katella at 7 p.m.

Pacifica Christian is 6-0 in the Liberty League and begin their first playoff game as the CIF Southern Section Division 4A top seed against Duarte home at 7 p.m.

Archer is 9-1 in the Delphic League and begin their first playoff game in the CIF Southern Section Division 4A home against Bishop at 7 p.m.

Archer has the possibility of meeting up with Pacifica Christian if both teams make it to the quarter finals.

New Roads is 6-3 in the Coastal League and begin their first playoff game in the CIF Division 4A bracket away against St. Anthony.

Windward is 10-2 in the Alpha League and has a bye on Tuesday with their first game TBA at home Thursday at 7 p.m.
