Fans, parents and celebrities showed up at the Moose Lodge on Saturday night to play in a charity poker tournament to support the Samohi baseball team.

Although they came because they enjoy the thrill of poker and a love for baseball, celebrities like Entertainment Tonight's Chris Jacobs, actor Charlie Sheen and Major League Baseball players Derrek Lee, Coco Crisp and Kenny Lofton also knew if they lost money, it was going to a good place.

The third annual Samohi Baseball Charity Poker Tournament and Auction at the Moose Lodge on Saturday night raised $30,000 for the Samohi baseball team, with about 70 percent of the items up for auction still to be sold.

Those items will be auctioned at another event in the future and the money raised from those items will go to the team as well.
