Two deputies injured in a single-vehicle crash as they responded to a call have been released from the hospital, sheriff’s officials said Monday.
Their patrol vehicle crashed into a guardrail and rolled over at about 6:45 p.m. at Kanan Dume Road and Latigo Canyon Road, according to Lt. Jennifer Seetoo of the Malibu Sheriff’s Station.
They suffered non-life-threatening injuries but were airlifted to a hospital, she said.
As of Monday afternoon, both deputies were back home and recovering, said Sgt. Rod Loughridge.
He said he does not know exactly when they left the hospital.
According to Seeton, the deputies were responding to a call of a man throwing bottles in the middle of Pacific Coast Highway.
