The Best Taekwondo, Kickboxing Training At PK Wellness In Santa Monica:

For the best in Martial Arts training, PK Wellness in Santa Monica has what everyone of all ages needs. Right now is the best time to join the club with a special offer for new clients of only $49 for the first month that includes classes, a private lesson, and free uniforms.

PK Wellness is run by seven-time Black Belt Martial Arts expert Victor King. A certified master trainer, King has trained top athletes and A-list celebrities at his studio in Santa Monica. And now he wants to help you get the best training possible in Martial Arts.

There’s something for everyone to learn, from children to adults.

The Tigers Taekwondo program is available for kids ages 3-6, with an emphasis on providing a strong foundation that teaches the qualities of courtesy, respect, and discipline. The class will also improve your child’s motor skills while focusing on helping the child learn how to pay attention and follow directions. Classes revolve around safety, fun and the basic instruction for this age group. Tigers will receive victory animal patches in various colors and stars to celebrate their progress.

Youth Taekwondo classes are offered for youngsters ages 7-15. Benefits include fitness, self-defense and self-confidence as each student accomplishes new goals. This self-confidence will carry over to all aspects of life.

Students will learn basic moves including hand movements, kicks and stances. In addition, there will be sparring sessions under strict control where moves will be practiced and reflexes challenged. Proficiency in techniques is encouraged and students will be able to display their abilities in an environment that’s safe, controlled and competitive.

Adult Taekwondo (ages 15-up) helps Martial Arts students develop a strong body and mind with their practice. Students will learn advanced techniques including hand movements, kicks and stances. Some of the benefits include increased fitness as you work powerful muscles of your torso/legs and become faster and more agile.

This class also teaches self-defense techniques to use in real life situations. You will be taught an efficient defense plan against a much larger opponent, which will increase your self-confidence. The goal will be to move from one belt level to the next as different techniques are perfected and the student advances to the next level.

Besides a variety of Taekwondo classes, PK Wellness also includes a top-notch Kickboxing program for ages 13 and older. Students are trained to the best of their own ability as they shape their bodies and lose weight. Benefits of Kickboxing include fitness, developing the powerful torso muscles, speed, and forming agile muscles of the arms and legs.

As Kickboxing students progress they will learn greater coordination, self-confidence, speed and power along with increased full body strength. Each student will burn an estimated 800 calories per one hour class.

Said PK Wellness owner Victor King: “Health is the real wealth for all of us. I can get you to that place of vibrant energy and better health.”

PK Wellness combines fitness training, diet consultation, and proven weight loss techniques along with cutting edge technologies to refine and speed the process of creating a better body.

PK Wellness is located at 2110 Wilshire Blvd. in Santa Monica. For information on how to join call 310.745.7291 or 310.828.8818.
