The Assistance League of Santa Monica celebrated the 10th anniversary of its partnership with Optometric Options on Oct. 15.
Dr. Elliott Moscot and his staff have been providing eye exams and glasses to students in the Santa Monica Bay area as part of Assistance League’s Operation School Bell program.
Lora Morn, head nurse with SMMUSD, has helped coordinate requests for vision vouchers from the schools, and Jacque Kelly, Vision Chair, has initiated and led the philanthropic program for more than 10 years.
Along with Joyce Landsverk, current president of Assistance League of Santa Monica, certificates of appreciation were presented to Dr. Moscot and his wife, Kathy.
This alliance has enabled almost 2,000 children to receive needed vision care services.
Everyone involved looks forward to another 10 years of working together.
