i was born here 58 yrs ago and this place has gone so far down hill that i can no longer afford to shop here. i hate the new mall, it is completely geared for the rich and/or tourists. there is no place for the average citizen to go anymore. all of the reasonably priced stores have closed or moved out of s.m.. i think it is a shame how this city has changed, it breaks my heart!

having people ignor traffic lights. I travel by wheelchair. I have had people hit me with their cars leave me in the middle of the street in my wheelchair in Santa Monica. I even had a police officer in a squad car hit the back of my wheelchair telling me to get out of his way.
