An epically gross, chillingly real, but inspiring short has been created to show the amount of trash flowing into the ocean in Santa Monica.

Filmmaker Jeneene Chatowsky features Santa Monica High School Team Marine students in the film that can be watched for free on Vimeo.

The film specifically documents the problem of single use plastics and litter at the Pico-Cantor Storm Drain in Santa Monica.

Watch the film here.

Thank you for your video. It would be a service if we could figure out a way to educate the public. Caring is a much larger task, however. Exposure is the key followed by discussion. How about providing this to the public school system? It is short and can be shown more than once before visual presentations. The kids are the future. Thank you again.
