This earthquake was centered directly under the so cal gas storage facility in playa vista which has has gas explosions and flare outs as recently as Jan 2013. Aparently the facility was "shut down" after the most recent event which left residents homes covered in oily fuel http://www.dailybreeze.com/news/ci_22342107/playa-del-rey-residents-leery-gas-leak-investigation?source=rss Gas is stored at pressures of up to 2400 PSI
