Full List Of Santa Monica Eat Well Week Restaurants For January 5-12:

Santa Monica’s 2nd annual Eat Well Week will be begin Sunday, Jan. 5 through Jan. 12 in conjunction with California Restaurant Month, thanks to the Santa Monica Convention & Visitors Bureau (SMCVB).

During Eat Well Week, more than a dozen of Santa Monica’s top restaurants will offer discounted pre-fixe menus and healthy new menu options to kick-off a healthier 2014.

SMCVB CEO/President Misti Kerns said she hoped the community embraced the invitation to experience the healthy culinary creations that local chefs have created for Santa Monica Eat Well Week.

“Santa Monica chefs take great pride in creating fresh farm-to-table dishes for an audience that has come to expect nothing but California cuisine at its finest,” Kerns said.

Several Santa Monica newcomers will join some of the city’s established favorites to participate in the campaign with specially crafted Eat Well Week menus.

At the Santa Monica Pier’s brand-new Al Mare, diners can enjoy a pulled chicken breast salad, grilled jumbo shrimp over vegetable cous cous, and pineapple tar-tar with strawberry yogurt sorbet for dessert.

The Viceroy’s rebranded Cast restaurant will be serving up Tuscan kale salad, roasted beets and miso-glazed salmon, amongst other nutritious options.

Locanda del Lago’s Chef Gianfranco’s Eat Well Week menu features a roasted dorade fillet, aromatic herbs, parsnip puree and sautéed spinach, all created with the freshest organic produce, purchased locally from the Santa Monica farmers’ market.
