Santa Monica's Ban On Nativity Scenes Appropriate: Letter To The Editor
Posted Jun. 19, 2012, 2:10 am
Letter To The Editor

Dear editor,
Christmas, Hanukkah, the Winter Solstice and certainly New Years Eve will all continue to be
celebrated extensively in Santa Monica even though the City Council unanimously, and
appropriately, voted to prohibit all unattended displays from being erected in Palisades Park.
Religious freedom, non-religious freedom and freedom of speech are still very much alive in
Santa Monica.
