Auction Benefits COACH for Kids

The Victorian in Santa Monica was the perfect site for a Super Celebrity Garage Sale and Internet Auction to benefit Cedars-Sinai COACH FOR Kids Mobile Medical Clinic. Sylvestor Stallone, Jennifer Flavin, Sugar Ray Leonard, Holly Robinson, Pete and Cheryl Tieg were some of the celebs in the audience.
The most sought-after item was the love seat from the smash comedy series”Mad About You.” The love seat came with a personal letter from Paul Reiser stating: "This is the couch we sat on for seven years That’s enough sitting - now it’s your turn."
Other items for sale included: Sugar Ray Leonard’s autographed boxing gloves, Sylvestor Stallone’s “Cliffhanger” hiking boots, Cheryl Tieg’s tropical chairs and a “Dharma” outfit from Jenna Elfman. Since Brentwood’s Irina Medavoy is on the Board of the clinic and she is married to producer Mike Medavoy, who has produced some of Barbra Streisand’s movies, there were also some personal treasures from Streisand on hand.
The mission of COACH for Kids is to improve the health and well-being of economically disadvantaged and medically underserved children in Los Angeles. Its Mobile Medical Unit serves areas where medical services for children are not readily available. Thanks to the efforts of a group of mostly Westside women, headed by Donna Estes-Antebi of Bel Air, the program is very successful.
