A careful reader, who chose to remain anonymous, suggested on reading last week’s story on the reopening of Palisades Park (page 1) that we must be using a very old map, as we turned Idaho Avenue, which is alive and well and living between Montana and Washington Avenues, into “Utah Avenue.” In fact, we weren’t using an old map, we just goofed -- perhaps because about the time we did the story, the Salt Lake City, Utah tornado was making news. Or perhaps we just goofed. In any
case, we apologize to residents of Idaho, we did not intend to wipe you off any map -- old or new.

#2
And on page 7, we credited one “Bruna Fink” with supplying the drawings of Solar Web. In fact, they were supplied by Bruria Finkle.
As nearly everyone knows, Ms. Finkle is one of Santa Monica’s leading citizens, whereas “Bruna Fink,” if she exists anywhere, probably exists in some work of fiction -- a James Bond flick perhaps. Apologies to Ms. Finkle, and the back of our hand to Bruna.
