Police Report Two
Cases Of Sexual Assault

Police reported
two cases of sexual assault on homeless women in the past two weeks.
They believe one man may have committed both assaults.
In each case, the suspect befriended a homeless woman,
lured her to an isolated area and assaulted her. The first assault
took place on Thursday, July 15 at 11:45 p.m. in a parking lot in the
600 block of Colorado Avenue. The victim was 44. Four days later, on
July 19, a second woman, 45, was raped in a parking lot in the 2500
block of Lincoln Boulevard.
Both victims described their assailant as a male
Caucasian in his early 40s. One woman went on to describe the man who
attacked her as being six feet four inches tall and weighing between
165 and 200 pounds, while the other described her attacker as being
five feet eight inches tall, weighing 155 pounds. One victim said her
attacker was bald, while the other recalled her attacker as having a
shaved head or very short-cut blond hair. The assailant may have a
Harley-Davidson tattoo on his right shoulder and one of a skeleton on
his left.
