   A series of low pressure systems will swing through the Pacific Northwest. The effect on the Southland will be limited to increasing the on-shore flow, cooling the beach areas and increasing the temperature range between coastal and inland areas. This weather pattern will draw up monsoonal moisture from the Southeast, so the inland and desert areas will be hot and humid, with a chance of Desert and Mountain thunderstorms. The on-shore flow will keep Santa Monica mostly cool and comfortable.
