Apology
City Council member Richard Bloom wrote a fine column
for the Mirror last week. It was called "My hometown, your
hometown" and it ran on this page. We’re sure our readers liked
it as much as we did.
But , somehow, we managed to drop Bloom’s byline and
so, unless you read the brief bio at the end of the column, you had no
idea who wrote the column. We regret the lapse.
Further, Bloom knows how to spell
"assassination" and "cemetery." He got them right.
We got them wrong. We regret that lapse, too.
Bloom took it all in stride, and graciously. He’s
currently out of the country, but we think he may write for us again
on his return.
