Just when you thought things couldnt get worse,
they have.
At any moment, Caltrans will begin a $2 million,
six-month asphalt replacement project on a 2.5 mile section of Lincoln
Boulevard.
During the day, all lanes on Lincoln between Fiji Way
and Commonwealth Avenue will be open, though drivers should expect
rough pavement, but one or two lanes will be closed from 9 p.m. to 7
a.m. on weekdays. At least one lane in each direction will always be
open, according to Caltrans.
The contractor, All American Asphalt, Corona, expects
the repaving to be finished in December or January, 2000.
