Sun mixed with clouds, chance of rain showers. Finally the weather pattern has changed, allowing rain to reach our area. The current rain event is drawing on subtropical moisture from the southwest, keeping our temperatures fairly warm and the rain light., with even the local mountains reporting rain instead of snow. The balance of the week should see partly cloudy skies, with another chance of rain for the weekend. This looks like a more typical colder winter storm: if it maintains its present course, we should see much cooler temperatures and maybe some heavier rain as well.
